Wikipedia is now a platform recognized worldwide for its propensity to offer a rich knowledge, whose quality continues to grow over the years, and whose collaborative dimension as well as the free content requiring, among other things, support through donations, offer everyone the opportunity to document as well as contribute. And, in order to save time, Wikimedia launched a tool for translation in 2014. Indeed, the vast majority of articles are in English, and the main challenge is to make more and more information accessible to individuals who are not speakers of English. The translation tool has the advantage of not requiring, as such, the rewriting of an article, for example from English, into Kazakh. While creating original content for each language is ideal, the translation tool accelerates this democratization of access to Wikipedia content and other Wikimedia services. With one million articles translated since 2014, the tool has largely proven itself: according to Neowin, it is used every three minutes to create a new article. Originally, the first article translation facilities were launched between Spanish and Catalan. Today, more than 90 languages are available.
